This EEA is an in-depth evaluation of the entire electrical system. In the EEA, we are looking for any and all conditions that are both unsafe and energy inefficient in the electrical system. From the EEA we create a report of recommendations that can be implemented including the expected energy savings with return on investment (ROI) calculations. After making the recommended corrections you will obtain positive energy savings almost immediately.
Once we’ve established your actual energy needs after the initial reductions, we can further recommend changes as far up the ladder as going completely off grid with a full solar system.

.jpg) Hurricane Wilma caused severe damaged to my home and my insurance company paid me $9000 after my deductible. I had estimates of $35,000 for all repairs of which my roofing estimate was for $15,000 for re-roofing . I realized that even if I replaced my roof with asphalt shingles that the next time a hurricane came along the shingles would be blown off again. So, I felt that I had to find an alternative solution to reroofing. . After researching many roofing solutions I decided that Hy-Tech cool roof solution was the method that would meet my goals of reducing my energy costs and completely seal my roof making it hurricane and water proof. Here is the method to complete the job. I replaced the missing shingles , then we applied a primer/sealer coat of #1220 Bond– it to insure adhesion. Then we applied two coats of Roof Guard a bright white high build elastomeric roof coating based on the latest chemical technology and fortified with Hy-Tech insulating ceramic microspheres. This bright white high build formula is designed to insulate, seal, waterproof, soundproof and protect. The thick rubber-like ceramic reinforced shield expands and contracts with varying hot and cold temperatures plus resists thermal shock. Roof Guard offers superior mildew resistance, soundproofing, UV ray reflectivity, corrosion resistance and a beautiful insulating finish. We finished the job with Elastoseal a Clear Acrylic Elastomeric Sealant designed to seal and protect roofing materials and reflective roof coatings. So what did it finally cost here is the breakdown. The average cost per square foot for this roof coating system is Bond it Primer = .13 ~ Roof Guard, 2 coats = .50 ~ Elastoseal 1 coat .23 ~ Total .86 per square foot. My roof is 2600 sq ft. so the materials were $2236 plus two bundles of asphalt shingles $50.00 and the labor to apply the shingles and paint total job cost was $4436.00. Saving me $10,564.00

The sea level in Israel has been rising and falling over the past 2,500 years, with a one-meter difference between the highest and lowest levels, most of the time below the present-day level. This has been shown in a new study supervised by Dr. Dorit Sivan, Head of the Department of Maritime Civilizations at the University of Haifa. "Rises and falls in sea level over relatively short periods do not testify to a long-term trend. It is early yet to conclude from the short-term increases in sea level that this is a set course that will not take a change in direction," explains Dr. Sivan.
Climate change is transforming the Arctic environment faster than expected and accelerating the disappearance of sea ice, scientists said on Friday in giving their early findings from the biggest-ever study of Canada's changing north.
The research project involved more than 370 scientists from 27 countries who collectively spent 15 months, starting in June 2007, aboard a research vessel above the Arctic Circle. It marked the first time a ship has stayed mobile in Canada's high Arctic for an entire winter.
Wind and solar technology made up over half of Europe’s new electricity generating capacity in 2009, as the number of new coal and nuclear facilities fell
More wind capacity was installed in Europe during 2009 than any other electricity-generating technology, according to statistics released today by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA).
Wind accounted for 39 per cent of increased European energy capacity, ahead of gas (26 per cent) and solar (16 per cent). In contrast, the nuclear and coal power sectors decommissioned more megawatts of capacity than they installed in 2009, with a total of 1,393 MW of nuclear and 3,200 MW of coal decommissioned.
